Pirates Booty

There was a 'Pirates Booty' sale going on at my school yesterday. They had all sorts of things on sale like Chap stick, textbooks, shears, gloves, temporary tattoos... I decided to look through the books since I am always interested in reading. I went through my usual steps while looking for books:
1- Is the cover attractive?
2- Does the title sound okay/interesting?
3- Can I afford it?

I found a book with an attractive cover and the title sounded magestic... "Sundays at Tiffany's"... And the price was originally 6.99 marked down to less than 2 dollars. So, it fit all my requirements.

I was debating on whether I should get it or not and then saw the slogan on the front that pretty much made me HAVE to get it.... "What if your imaginary friend from childhood was your one true love?"

Yeah. I don't even understand what it could possibly mean; it sounds so bizarre that I just have to read it. I will keep you posted. I am hoping that it is a Drop Dead Fred meets Breakfast at Tiffanys meets a Back to the future type story. I am certain it is going to blow my mind.

ps i'm really glad that the book title is not "pirates booty"
...i know i'm not a writer and all, and don't get me wrong, but it totally wouldn't go.

Oh my goodness I have missed you! And I am glad to know that there is someone else who judges books by their cover :)

I sure hope there is cobwebs and romance and flying skateboards because then I have my next pick also. I love you and reading your fun posts makes me miss you. Good luck with your crazy schedule and I hope to see you soon.

(Sorry, that was my deleted comment.. can't stand my own typos.)

I was actually hoping the title of the book WAS Pirate's Booty. I think I'll start writing that book now..

As for this one, I can't wait to hear all about it.. say.. over Indian food?

Drop Dead Fred is a great, great movie.
